Tomorrow’s Health Welcomes Virtual Health Coach Rebekah Sorensen
Hello! My name is Rebekah Sorensen and I am a certified Health Coach through the American Council on Exercise. I also have a wonderful husband and a 9 month old son, which I love to watch as he learns and grows (he’s so close to crawling now)!
Before becoming a Health Coach I received my Bachelor’s degree at Brigham Young University-Idaho in Psychology, with a minor in Marriage and Family Therapy. While studying, I took a Health Psychology class, which inspired me to learn more about how sleep, physical activity, foods, and more, impact our mental and physical health. That inspiration has led me to where I am now.
Through this whole process I have recognized the need for genuinity in regards to health. I feel there is a lot of true, but also false, health information out there. There are intense pressures to live a certain way in order to be “healthy”.
My health coaching sessions and efforts focus on helping my clients better understand what health looks like for them, their life, and in their circumstances. I work to help them realize that they don’t have to fit into the health “mold” that is often put upon all of us. So much joy can be found in living a healthier lifestyle that is genuine and realistic for them.
I utilize sincere questions and answers in my sessions, as well as offer you the space and time to share what you already know and guide you in using that to your advantage. I offer greater knowledge when needed, but strive to put the power back into your hands; it’s important for you to understand your body and your thoughts so that you can become your own health advocate. I will work my hardest to help you feel that you can make changes, and that you can feel joy as you set goals, overcome challenges, and keep on trying.
I look forward to working with you in accomplishing remarkable things! Visit my Virtual Health Coach page and fill out my free consultation meeting form to set up an appointment
